Media Release:

The PGA of Australia and Club Car have renewed their long-standing partnership for a further three years, extending the agreement through to 2029.

Club Car will continue as the official golf vehicle partner of the PGA of Australia, supporting PGA Members, education programs and the BMW Australian PGA Championship.

The renewal builds on a longstanding relationship between the two organisations, underpinned by a shared commitment to supporting PGA Professionals and the continued growth of golf in Australia.

As part of the agreement, Club Car will continue to support key PGA Member events, including the PGA Professionals Championship and PGA Associates Championships, alongside education programs for current and future Members. The partnership will also extend to the BMW Australian PGA Championship, one of Australia's premier sporting events.

The renewal comes as Club Car continues to invest in technology and safety across its golf vehicle range. Its Tempo Lithium models feature an Automatic Park Brake with patented StopSmart™ Technology, which engages automatically when the vehicle stops to deliver smooth, gradual deceleration, alongside an advanced Battery Management System.

PGA of Australia CEO Gavin Kirkman said the renewal reflected the strength of the longstanding partnership and Club Car’s ongoing support for the PGA and its Members.

“Club Car has been a valued partner of the PGA of Australia for many years, and we’re delighted to continue that relationship through to 2029,” Kirkman said.

“Their continued support across PGA events and education programs provides real value for our Members and Associates, while their involvement in the BMW Australian PGA Championship contributes to the ongoing strength of the professional game.

“We look forward to building on the relationship over the next three years and continuing to work with Club Car to support the PGA Membership and the growth of golf in Australia.”

Club Car Oceania Manager Andrew Bayliss said the company was proud to extend its partnership with the PGA of Australia.

“Partnerships like this aren’t built overnight – they’re built on trust, performance and genuinely turning up for each other year after year,” Bayliss said.

“This relationship has grown into one of the most valued in our business, built on a shared commitment to supporting PGA Professionals and the golf industry right across the country.

“The strength of this relationship comes down to the people on both sides – the PGA team and our Club Car channel partners – who work together day in, day out to make it deliver real value for PGA Members and Associates.

“We’re committed to continuing that support here in Australia over the next three years, and to backing the people who help make golf accessible and enjoyable for players at every level.”
